I have worked with many designers over the years and there are a select few I would recommend. Not because their work wasn’t flawless, but because there are few who can meet the demands of fast paced retail. Anyone can deliver beautiful work when given ample time, but the retail environment needs to react quickly and to take advantage of opportunities as they arise. I highly recommend Keith Sharpe of S2 Creative as every project I asked him to fulfil, he delivered consistently excellent work and met some seriously unrealistic deadlines.
Keith provides high quality creative work, having worked as our design partner and innovator across multiple formats. Works delivered to us were as varied as catalogues, in store POS for our retailers, illustrations, unique brand iconography, 3D visuals, logo and presentation work along with considerable historical rectification work to achieve monstrous deadlines. He reinvigorated our packaging across multiple products and developed a master brand packaging suite we continue to use and implement to this day.
In addition to his creative excellence, he also provided us an ultimate solution with product photography as a skill in his arsenal, of which we relied on to deliver monthly dropped product, retouched and presented in multiple formats for internal and external use. Any creative concept that was thought of internally as a ‘new idea’ he created visible assets for presentation, developed from hastily constructed, nebulous briefs and with limited clarification, delivered exactly as we required.
I have worked with Keith whilst working at two differing companies and across products that diametrically oppose, and on both occasions, his ability to adapt was always a blessing. Naturally a highly-tuned creative professional, he provides good sound advice, is very easy to work with, always willing to take an ‘update’ phone call and is a terrific human being.
